New Entrant Carriers
Our program, TruckSafer™, is designed to focus on fleets that are new to the industry and will provide our clients with an access resource from very knowledgeable former safety compliance professionals, whom collectively have decades of trucking safety experience, direct assistance to assist our clients covering a wide range of topics and services to help get them off onto a right start in the industry.
With a recent change regarding New Entrant Safety Audits (NESA), it is almost imperative for a carrier have a strong advocate on their side, knowledgeable of the rules and how NESAs are to be conducted. Once a motor carrier starts operations after getting authority, they are monitored for eighteen (18) months. By rule, that New Entrant Safety Audit (NESA) should be completed within twelve (12) months for the majority of motor carrier operations.
Now the change to the NESA program is that, within that initial eighteen (18) months, if the carrier has an accident or acquires any alerts -they become subject to a compliance review (CR). The CR can be either full or focused. The CR has the potential to change the motor carriers safety rating by down grading it to an unfavorable rating.
Our program, will explain and assist our clients on how to set up their access to the FMCSA Portal, then link it to the Clearinghouse portal. We provide our clients with a secured online portal for their driver and vehicle qualification files, that among other features, has an industry best practices expiration management program and direct sync'd pull of required reports when needed and allows for an audit to be conducted completely remotely with the FMCSA using a proven block-chain technology -thus minimizing disruptions to your daily operations.
Our program allows a new motor carrier to control their safety and compliance costs by having fixed costs without the normal fluctuations. The only additional cost any participating client would incur would be the costs of drug, alcohol, and driver physicals -which are controlled if they opt to participate with the nationwide vendor we use.
